On Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Ronald Dowie at the age of 87, beloved husband of the late Lorna Kenny. Loving father of Ken and his wife Rosemary, Donald and his wife Linda, Linda Warren and her husband Jeff, Bruce and his wife Corey. Devoted grandfather of Erin, Neil, Gillian, Sarah (Adam), Harrison, Carson, Caitlin and Kyle. Survived by sister-in-law Shirley Kenny of Montreal and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Rev. Sean Foster for his support. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Monday from 7-9 p.m. with a funeral service in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11 a.m.
