Peacefully on Oct 5th, after complications with dementia, Rod passed away at OTMH.
Rod is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Judy(Murray) and his grateful children Jodi (Sean) and Craig ( Samantha). He was a proud Pa to Garret, Owen and Mia. Rod will be missed by his sister Dianne, cousin Larry and extended family.

With an HBA from Western and an MBA from McMaster Rod embraced many roles with the Ford Motor Company both in Canada and abroad. Foreign assignment took Rod and Judy to Taiwan, China, India, New Zealand and South Africa. A lifetime of traveling with family and friends provided Rod with plenty of opportunity to pursue his passion for photography. Sailing and racing aboard Tapestry on Lake Ontario gave us all countless memories and Rod a forever bond with crew members.

A private family funeral is planned for Thursday Oct.10th and a celebration of Rod's life and love of sailing will take place at the Oakville Yacht Squadron on Oct. 15th from 4-7 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to OTMH or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
