It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Robin, wife to John, mother to Sara, Ashleigh, Justin, Leanna and Matthew, cherished Gramma to her eleven grandchildren, and sister to Sean and Alanna.

Robin devoted her life to John, her husband of 40 years.  Her children and precious grandchildren were everything to her and she was happiest when she was spending time with her family.

As a way to connect with her sons, Robin would spend time watching the Raptors games.  Not knowing a single rule of the game and often cheering for the opposing team, Robin soon became their biggest fan, which turned into quite the family ordeal.  Go Raptors Go!!

Robin had a creative side.  She loved making cards to give to the people in her life.  Bringing happiness to others was something that brought her immense joy.  Robin also loved to make beautiful flower arrangements, which she liked to randomly give to her family and friends.  Her creativity could be seen through her home and in her seasonal displays.

Robin loved being outside in her gardens and also spending time beachcombing on the shores of Nova Scotia.  She was fond of all living creatures and could always be found topping up her bird feeders and making sure there was plenty food for the squirrels and chipmunks.  In recent years, Robin found a passion for raising monarch and swallowtail butterflies. She found raising the butterflies brought her peace and provided another way to stay close to her family.

Robin's final wish was that we keep the memory of her alive through the butterflies.  Her message to us was to "Keep your palm open because you don't know when I just might land on you."

We miss you and we love you always and forever.
