Bob died peacefully on April 14 ^th at Wyndham Manor in Oakville after a long and difficult illness he never complained about. He was born and raised in Orillia and Cobourg to parents Helen and Jack, and sadly, was predeceased by his only sibling, Heather. He will be forever missed by his wife Anne and son David. Bob was very proud of his profession. He trained as a Chartered Accountant and spent many years in public accounting before starting his own consulting business. He was thrilled to be distinguished as a lifetime member of CPA Ontario in 2018. In his spare time he rose to the rank of captain in the 48 ^th Highlanders reserve regiment. He was an avid golfer, had a passion for cars and loved photography – eventually becoming a talented photographer. Bob will be remembered for his generous nature, curiosity and humour. Special thanks to the staff in Palermo House at Wyndham who cared for him over many years. Further thanks to his friends Rick Silver, Wayne and Marion Crossen, Ruth Marland and his goddaughter Rebbeca Bryan. He was also grateful to his brother-in-law Andrew in Calgary and his niece Anna in Victoria for their steadfast support. There will be no visitation or service, however Bob would be pleased with donations to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society made in his honour.
