Obituary

Peacefully, at home on February 3rd after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 79. Robert, loving husband of Audrey for 56 years and loved father of Scott (Carol-Ann), Cynthia (David), Stephen (Janie), and Melinda (Anthony). "Grandpa Bobby" to Melissa (Dan), Sarah, Rebecca, Christine, Robert, Peter, Georgia, Nicholas, Jenna, and Meagan. Pre-deceased by his father (George Earl Fraser) and mother (Gwendolyn Greenfield). Special brother to Betty Jane, John (Florence) and Sheila. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Ottawa and having attended St. Patrick High School and University, Bobby worked in the office products industry for Index Card Company, Esselte Pendaflex and as Managing Director of Hazel Office Products. Bobby and Audrey were world travellers enjoying visits to New Zealand, China, and Finland among other destinations. An avid sportsman and life-long Montreal Canadiens fan, Bobby enjoyed the many friends he met golfing and playing hockey, badminton, and bridge. Bobby was a member and convener for many years of R.O.M.A.C. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful people at CCAC and the Red Cross especially Dorothy, Benjamin and Alice for their patient care. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday, February 6. Funeral mass 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 7, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville. Reception to follow the mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.
