IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert William
Ambeau
November 8, 1934 – January 13, 2022
Bob peacefully passed away at the age of 87, in Wyndham Manor, Oakville, ON. Born in Midland, he was a loving brother to his siblings - Arthur (deceased), Jerome (deceased)and Margaret Bourgeois. At the age of 20, he moved to Oakville, where he worked at Ford Motor Company for 35 years. In Oakville, he met his vivacious wife Mary (née Dunnigan), whom he was married to for 61 years and had three beautiful children - Marc (deceased), Carolyn (Frank) Masi, and Rob. With lots of partying, travelling, and volunteering, Bob lived a very fulfilling life with his family and friends. Bob's infectious laugh and sense of humour always made people laugh. His many hobbies included playing cards, curling, golf, horseshoes, listening to music, watching sports and reading. He was a proud Grandfather of three grandchildren - Marc and Bernadette Ambeau, and Deona Masi. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. A "Celebration of Life" and burial will be held at a later date and time. The Ambeau family would also like to thank the staff at Wyndam Manor for all the love and support they gave him during his stay there. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Oakville Humane Society.
