Beloved aunt, sister and friend, passed away on Sunday, September 20 in Oakville. Rita will also be remembered fondly by the many business associates she became friends with in her years in the insurance industry. Rita was a trailblazer, starting at the bottom and working her way up to own her own successful company. Rita will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her generosity, and her passion for her family and friends. She loved life.  Indeed, nothing made her happier than sitting down with loved ones for sparkling conversations over good food and good wine. All who were lucky enough to share her table in Oakville or in Florida can attest she was a wonderful and gracious hostess. Rita is survived by her brother Art, her nieces and nephews Rhonda, Scott, Jeff & Jesse, her six grand-nieces and nephews, and her close friends Donna and Robert. A private memorial service will be held. Donations can be made in her name to the Hospital for Sick Children.
