It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Jeffery Flaherty , 55 yrs, announce his passing. Richard was a graduate of the University of Guelph, and a dedicated elementary school teacher for 24 years. Richard was widely travelled and had a great sense of adventure. Richard will be greatly missed by his parents Brian and Anita Flaherty, his brother Andrew Flaherty, his sisters Sarah Flaherty and Theresa Drover, and his nephews Daniel and Thomas Drover. A memorial service will be held at Kopriva Community Funeral Home, in Oakville ,Ont. on September 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that all persons attending the service are double vaccinated for COVID 19, as family members are immunocompromised.
