We are sad to announce the passing of Pierre (Peter) Guertin on November 28th, at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with heart disease. He passed peacefully with loving family at his side. He leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth, sons Adrian (Elena) and Greg (Joyce) and his daughter Anne Marie (Larry). He will be missed by his grandchildren Damien, Eddie, Serena, Nolan, Sophie and Owen. Peter is now with his loving parents Gerard and Madeleine Corbeil. He will be sadly missed by his brothers John (Judith) and Michael (Susan) and he was a loving brother-in-law and uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Ireland. Peter was always an active member of the St. Dominic's community and has touched so many lives over the years. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
