Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on February 4, 2007 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Phyl, beloved wife of 62 years of the late Lorne. Devoted mother of Lorna Banting and her husband Doug and the late David and his wife Dorothy (Ed Leonard). Sister of Dorothy Harrison and the late May Kirk. Adored grandmother of Darren (Kym), Cara (Ilya), Colin (Ami), Laura (Pierre), David, Kyle (Carmela) and Alex. Great-grandmother of Samantha, Zachary, Elizabeth and Bailey. Visitation at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr St.) from 7-9 pm Wednesday. A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Phyllis will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday February 8, 2007 in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Out Patient Rehab Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
