Surrounded by his family, on February 22, 2008 at Ian Anderson House, in Oakville after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Trudy. Loved father of Alan (Fiona), Jo-Ann (Andre) and John (Carol). Beloved son of Marjorie and the late James Dunn Beattie. Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Kira and Dana, Kalee, Kian and Kennedi, Logan and Madeline. Survived by sisters Mary (Rick), Betty (Wayne), Heather (Homer) and brothers, Brian (Lynn) and Dave (Geri). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday. A Celebration of Phillip's life will be held 11 am on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. Cremation.
