It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Vidovich on Tuesday October 15, 2024, in his 94th year.  Peter is survived by his loving daughter Lilly (Tony Donaghey) and predeceased by his sisters Ane, Dragica and Zora.

Peter was born in Osunja, Zumberak and came to Canada as a young man.  After working in the mines up north, he moved to Toronto where he met and married Danica.   They eventually settled in Oakville where Peter worked at Ford Motor Company for over 30 years before retiring.

Peter enjoyed reading the newspaper, keeping up with current events and jigsaw puzzles.  He especially loved spending time at Zumberak Farm where he played Bocce and visited with family and friends.  He was an avid walker and would be seen walking great distances around his neighbourhood.

Peter will be fondly remembered as a gentle and caring man with a deep love for family and friends.  He will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 23, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Rd. W. Oakville ON L6K1E1

Funeral service will be held on Thursday October 24, 2024 at 11am at Kopriva Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville ON L6H7A8

A memorial lunch will follow.
