It is with deep sadness that the family of Peter Tataren, at the tender age of 89, announce his passing. Predeceased by his soulmate, the love of his life, Olga Ann Tataren (nee Rizun).

Peter lived a life full of love and joy and saw the very best that this world could offer. He always made sure to give everything he could so that others could see the same, never asking anything in return. Words truly cannot describe how lucky we all are to have known and loved such a wonderful man.

With the final chapter of his life coming to a close, Peter leaves behind his son, Jeffery Tataren, his beloved daughter, Catherine Garvin, and her husband, Thomas Garvin. Peter also leaves behind his darling grandchildren Jessica, Jennifer, Tyler, Alexandra, and Stephanie, as well as great-grandchildren Jack, Mason, and Mya-Lynn. Brought into this world in 1934, Peter was born into a loving family as an only child to his late parents, Nicholas and Tatianna Tataren. As time went on, Peter's family grew, and his heart along with it.

A man with the strength of a thousand, Peter always found a way to keep up with his family life while also excelling in his career. Starting as just a young man, Peter helped to build the Glass-Cell Fabricating Company from the ground up. He always made sure to give his all with everything he took on, and made the hard parts of life seem so easy to those around him.

An intimate family service will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, at 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, on Wednesday, January 10th, at 10:00am, followed by internment at Parklawn Cemetery at 12:45pm.
