Unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, Peter Makrilias passed away at the Oakville Trafalgar-Memorial Hospital at age 69. Peter, beloved husband of Effie. Loved father of Mary and her husband Bill, Anna and her husband Paul and the late Aggie. Dear pappou (grandfather) of Olivia, Effie and Alicia. Will also be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-9 pm Friday. Funeral Service 12 noon Saturday at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3840 Finch Avenue East, Toronto. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.
