With great sadness, the family of Peter Gerspacher announces his peaceful passing at his daughter's home in Iroquois, Ontario on January 7, 2026. Peter was born in Germany, spent his teenage years in Nova Scotia, and started his family in Montreal. Peter was a loving husband to his wife Terry until her passing in 2003. Together they raised their family in Oakville. He was beloved by his daughter Julianne (Michael), grandsons Lukas and Henry, and son Brian.

Peter was devoted to his family and Catholicism. He was a proud and supportive father and grandpa. Those around him teased him for talking so little, but appreciated his kindness. He would reliably lend a hand before being asked. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a service at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, Oakville on Monday, January 19. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.
