At Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on April 30th, 2015, Peter passed away peacefully at the age of 69 years after a sudden and unexpected illness. Beloved husband of over 45 years to Jill (nee Smith). Loving father and father-in-law of Stephen and Jenni, David and Meagan, and Heather and Jay. Proud and doting "Grampy" to Katelin, Jack, Tom, Reid, Evan, Matty, and Julia. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Eleanor Boles (nee White). Peter was retired following more than 30 years of dedicated service with the Province of Ontario as a senior manager with Municipal Affairs and Housing, having significant influence on land use policy in the province. An avid golfer and a superb amateur chef, Peter was never happier than when he was at the family cottage in Port Burwell. Summers at Burwell will never be the same without him there to watch over things. Peter's dry humour, wit, and steadfast support and loyalty to his friends and family will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 11:00 am on Monday, May 4, 2015 with a Celebration of Peter's Life at 1:00 pm.
