(Resident of Oakville and formerly of Peterborough Ontario.)
Having just celebrated her 87th birthday, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2017 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Survived by brother Peter Urechko (Marilyn) of Belleville and Anne Sisson of Winnipeg, and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son (Donald) Bradley Shervington in 2002 and siblings John Urechko; Michael Urechko; Bill Urechko; Rose Klacza.
Pauline worked as a waitress at Cesar's in Peterborough until she retired and joined her son Brad at his house in Oakville.
Thanks to the doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff, and volunteers at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion. Every single person that provided services to her, including food service and room cleaning, exhibited a friendliness that made a positive difference to her in her almost 4 month stay in hospital. It was noticed, and is most appreciated. Special thanks to Sandra Hare from the Volunteer Visitor Program at Acclaim Health (a registered charity) for her support to Pauline.
At Pauline's request, no service will be held and cremation has already taken place and interment of her ashes will be at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery in Oakville in the Spring.
Family and friends are invited to share words of remembrance on this site.
