Pauline is now reunited with her loving husband, Bill (d. 2019). She is survived by her daughters Laura (Craig), Susan Lee (Pat) and Paula, along with her grandchildren Meaghan (James), Erin (Corey), Sean, Aiden, and Will.  She is pre-deceased by her father, Rowland Sinnett (1935), mother, Edith Lilian Sinnett (1995), and sisters Olwyn Wakelin (2011) and Patricia Hammond (2006).

Her wonderful life journey began in Birmingham, England on January 6, 1933, and ended in Oakville, Ontario, Canada on July 24, 2022. After surviving WW2 in England, she arrived in Canada at the age of 14 with her mother and sisters. In her 20's she met Bill at the Piccadilly Club in Toronto where they raised their family. After Bill's retirement, they moved to Lagoon City on Lake Simcoe where she enjoyed many rounds of golf, dart games and poker runs on the lake. Pauline and Bill travelled extensively in their retirement, enjoying many adventures together.

In their later years they moved to Pickering, Ontario and joined the local Probus club. Mom also taught Mahjong and enjoyed playing pool, doing arts and crafts, playing cards, and using the golf simulator at her retirement home.

Recognizing that she needed more support, we recently moved Mom to Oakville. Thank you to the kind staff at Delmanor Glen Abbey and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their expert care in mom's last days. She passed away from complications of COPD.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in her memory to The Canadian Lung Association or to your local Ontario SPCA or Humane Society .

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Wednesday August 3, 2022, from 2 pm – 4:00 pm and then from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm followed by a celebration of her life on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 1:00pm.
