It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul. After a long battle with his health, he passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. He is finally resting in peace.

He was born in Noranda, Quebec, in 1938, graduated from Brébeuf College in Montreal and then went on to earn his law degree at the University of Ottawa.

He worked at DuPont Canada for 27 years which brought his family from Candiac to Oakville and retired from Livingston International in 2006. He was a member of the Probus Club of Oakville.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Madeleine (Perrier), his beloved children; Chantal (Brent), Charles (Rebecca), Julie (Barrie) and grandchildren; Mélanie, Estelle, Lola, Stéphanie and Cooper, his sisters; Louise (pre-deceased), Aline and Madeleine, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home in Oakville on Friday, May 22 from 7-9pm. A celebration of life service will follow on Saturday, May 23 at 2pm with visitation from 1-2pm and a reception afterwards.
