On February 22, 2016 we said goodbye to Paul James Farley. Born in Toronto on February 10, 1931. Moved to Oakville in 1966. A graduate of St. Michael's College, Toronto. He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years, Esther; his sister-in-law Betty, brother-in-law Jack (of England), brother Denis, sister-in-law Wendy, many wonderful nieces and nephews and cousins of whom he was most fond. Paul was an active member of St. Michael's Church and helped with many funerals, the Probus Club of Oakville, the wonderful choir of St. Michael's and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Paul was on the Oakville Council for 20 years and an investigator for Customs and Excise in Toronto until his retirement at 58 years old. Paul was a true gentleman and a life long friend to many people especially to Mike and Ross. Paul always helped people along the way. He certainly was a man for all seasons and will be sorely missed by all who loved him. A Funeral Mass of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville. If desired, donations to the St. Vincent De Paul Society would be greatly appreciated.
