It is with heartbreaking sadness that we announce that Paul Gordon Bennett of Etobicoke and Bala has passed away peacefully from complication of pneumonia on Saturday, Jan 27, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Etobicoke.  He was 72. Paul was predeceased by his wife Janice Ann Bennett, his parents and  brother Bruce.  He leaves behind son Jamie, adored granddaughter Chanel and sisters Lee Bennett Splonick, NS and Laura Bennett, Que.   He will also be missed by his special cousins Louise Crawford, Doug Bennett, Donna Hepp and Sandra Hunter.  He truly loved you all. He lived for the past 10 years at Hearthstone by the Bay in Toronto where he made many friends. He will be terribly missed by his Personal Service Workers  or as he called them "Pauls' Angels" who provided much appreciated care in his later years.  So to  Jean, Susana, Kisha, Yeshi, Esmay, Jeanna, Tess, Madison and Kristin , job well done!  We will be forever grateful for the love and kindness you showed our darling Paul. Celebration of life will be Friday, Feb 2, 2018 at Hearthstone By the Bay, 3 Marine Parade Drive, Toronto, ON M8V 3Z5 from 1pm to 4pm.
