Patricia (Pat) passed away peacefully, in her 91st year on June 25, 2024 in London, Ontario. After a long well-lived and well-loved life, she was a loving mother/step mother, survived by her sons and daughter from her first marriage to Eugene Michael Aussem. Sons, David (Julie Aussem), Michael, Paul (Amy Lam) and daughter Karen (William Merrylees), daughter in-law Ana Aussem, and stepsons Tim (Claire Macdonald) and Mike Macdonald (predeceased).

A wonderful grandmother to Jennifer (Dustin Luchka), Max (Alyssa Aussem), Cameron, Josh (Gwen Aussem), Emily (Michael Lucaci), and cherished great grandmother of Paisley, Douglas, Isla, Logan, Carter and Liam.
Pat was born in Hamilton Ontario, in Oct 1933, to parents John and Edna Dick. She was loved by her sister Betty (David Miller) and predeceased Brother Jack (Myrtle Dick). Also survived by nieces Sandra (Alan Stewart), Kathy (Jeff Wessinger) and Susan (Ron Leishman)

In mid-life she married a wonderful man, Douglas (Doug) Macdonald (predeceased), who had family of his own. After their marriage, Pat welcomed his sons as her own.

Pat was an extremely strong, spiritual and positive woman who throughout her life, always passed her positive attitude and beliefs onto her children, family and friends. Pat was an artist and decorator, with a love for playing piano, painting land and seascapes, shopping, dining, and viewing the planets and stars.
She will be missed by many.

A private family service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main St W, in Hamilton.
