Passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine. Loved father of Loretta (Allan Murphy) and Joan (Herb Legleiter). Cherished grandfather of Tammy (Shane Turnbull), Mike Murphy, Nick (Leanne) and Wayne (Jodi) Legleiter. Great grandfather of Ayden, Hunter, Jaime, Paige, Arwen, Carson, Brooke, Brianne, Aiden, Jacob and Cheyenne. Great-great grandfather of Marlee and Emma. Ovila was one of 16 children and will be sadly missed by his siblings and their families. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Cremation to follow.
