Olga gave generously of her time and commitment to her church community at the Ukrainian Church of the Holy Cross and was a charter lifetime member of The Ladies of St. Anne. She was extremely proud to be honoured for 55 years of volunteer service in the church and in Thunder Bay. She had treasured memories of holidays in Florida, Hawaii and Oakville where she enjoyed the sun, good times and her immediate family. She always returned to her home in Thunder Bay where she was self reliant and lived independently in her lifelong home. Many stopped to admire her gardens, to share her company and her produce. Besides gardening she enjoyed decorating and music. She also was a talented stitch wizard producing countless peti point and needlepoint pictures as well as knitting. This lovely, gracious, brave woman will be sorely missed by everyone with whom she shared her love of life and beauty.
