After a long and happy life, Nuala passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Nuala leaves her children Gerri (Bruce), Peter (Nadia), Bernice (Rob) and Laura (Kevin). Nuala's nine grandchildren -- Brian, Brent, Alessia, Taylor, Maeve, Rebecca, Brendan, Isabel and Natalie -- were each a very special light in her life. Nuala's life was filled with the love and laughter of family and friends. She treasured her siblings and her siblings-in-law, and she had a special fondness for her nieces and nephews who all loved their Auntie Nuala. Nuala was predeceased by many dear friends, by her two older brothers, Paul and Kevin, and by her husband Joe, the love of her life and husband of more than 61 years.  A special thank you to three angels---Sue, Evelyn and Carmen---Mom's caregivers who gave her comfort over her final months. Visitation will be on Wednesday November 7 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. Nuala's Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church at 2415 Rebecca Street in Oakville at 11 a.m. on Thursday November 8 ^th . The Mass will be followed by burial at Springcreek Cemetery at 1390 Clarkson Road North, Mississauga. Everyone is welcome to a celebration of Nuala's life at Tavolo Restaurant at 1515 Rebecca Street (located on the east side of the South Oakville Mall).
