Peacefully at his home in Oakville on July 10, 2009 at the age of 73. Professional hockey player, professor and craftsman. Beloved husband of June Sibbick. Father of Steve and his wife Patricia of Burlington, Michelle Ribble and her husband James of Oakville. Proud grandfather and hockey instructor of Steven, David, Kate and Erin. Survived by his sister Beth and husband Norman Carpenter of Flamborough, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Claude and John and sister May. A celebration of the life of Norman Sibbick will be held at the Lighthouse Restaurant, 2340 Ontario Street, Oakville at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2009.
