Norman passed away in Ottawa. As a veteran of World War Two, he served in the No. 2 CAUC and the CAOF. He returned from Europe and obtained a BASc in 1950 from the University of Toronto. Norman became a Professional Engineer and worked with Ford Motor Company of Canada for 36 years. He lost Betty, his wife of 53 years in 2005. Father to Allister (and his wife, Abigail) of Ottawa and Ian of Oakville. Norm was fond of books, maps, single malt whisky, and motor cars – ancient, modern and in miniature. He was interned at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery in Oakville next to his beloved Betty.
