Suddenly on Sunday April 25, 2004 at his home in Burlington. Norm, beloved husband of the late Renee. Loved father of David, Terry and his wife Sarah Machell, Elizabeth and her husband Dave Weinberg, Sue, Michele Doherty and her partner Doug Robertson, Lesley Doherty and her husband Rod Smith and the Late Bill. Adored grandfather to Connor Cooke, Gibson Cooke and Bailee Doherty. Dear brother to Murray Cooke. Norm was the cherished fiancée of Becky Marshall and will be greatly missed by her family. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville (905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service at Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn Street, Oakville at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2004. Interment will follow at the Capilano View Cemetery, West Vancouver, British Columbia, on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakville Humane Society.
