Norman Austen Coates passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 99. He is the husband of the late Annie Jamieson Coates and the father of Allan Coates.

All his life, Norman was loved by family members and friends. He fulfilled his calling when he became the Director of Financial Services for the South Shore Protestant Regional School Board in St. Lambert, Quebec. Norman was a true believer in education so instead of flowers, please contribute to your children's education.

Grave site service in Norman's honour will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery in Oakville.
