Norma was one of seven children born to Leonard and Estelle LaSalles.  All six of her siblings have since passed before her.  In 1954 Norma and John Leonard Brown were united in Holy Matrimony that resulted in their four surviving children: Ronald (Nancy), Barbara (Kevin), Dwayne and Carolee (Brent); nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Norma was an active member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church in Burlington, Ontario.  She also enjoyed sponsoring missionaries in their endeavors.

Since February 2011 Norma had resided at Maple Villa Long Term Care until she took her last breath.

Norma will be remembered by many members of the church, her friends and extended family.
