It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noreen Christina Walker (nee Wright) on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 89th year after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Youngest daughter of Frederick Charles Wright and Lily Lydia Dyson Ross (nee Needham), Noreen was predeceased by son Timothy Reed, her parents, siblings Marguerite, Lily and James, and half-siblings Frederick, George and William. Survived by husband Eugene Lloyd and son Jeffrey Brian, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Road, Oakville (one block east of Kerr Street) on Thursday January 3, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Service to be held in the chapel on Friday January 4, 2018, at 10:30 am. Interment at the Woodland Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Noreen's memory to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the staff at OTMH for their excellent care.
