Died peacefully with a broken heart, at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on Friday, May 11, 2007. Dearly beloved husband and best friend for 60 years of Anne (Golanch) (Predeceased). Cherished father of Terry, June, Nick Jr. and Mark and son-in-law Carmen. Much adored grandfather of Nicole and Michael Romano, Vincent and Brandon Semenuk. Nick worked for the Ford Motor Company for 30 years and retired as a Control Plant Manager of the Truck Plant. After his retirement, Nick and Anne worked on their Milton apple farm "Nick and Anne Orchards" for 10 years, plus living in Daytona Beach for 10 years. Nick and Anne settled in Oakville where they devoted their lives to their children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Credit Valley Hospital Cancer Unit, the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and all the Home-Care and Loving support from the Cancer Foundation and Wellness Centre. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Halton Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. At the request of the family, a Private Family Service to Celebrate the Life of Nick was held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, Oakville, (905-844-2600). Interment followed at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
