It is with deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Nick surrounded by his loving family at home on April 18, 2009. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Drew-Brook). Loving father of Christina (Danny Da Costa) and Mark Marusic (Michelle). Cherished Grandpa of Chase and Madison. Loving son of Josip and Slavka Marusic. Survived by brothers Jadro and Bozo. Will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm followed by a Service celebrating Nick's life at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 21, 2009 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church Hornby. Interment St. Stephen's Anglican Cemetery. The family strongly encourage everyone speak to their doctors about early screening for the prevention of colon cancer. The family would like to thank Dr. B. Gay, Dr. Arya, Dr. Strevel, Dr. Besik, Dr. Pyle, nurse Shannon and nurse Shirilee for their ongoing support and medical care.
