Nancy Agnes Jones

May 18, 1932 - January 17, 2025

It is with sadness, love, and heartfelt gratitude, that the family of Nancy Agnes Jones (nee Provan), announce her passing on January 17, 2025 at Burloak Extendicare.

Surrounded by her daughter, granddaughter, and dear friend Christene, she passed peacefully to be reunited with her husband John (2011). She will be greatly missed, but always remembered for her kindness, compassion, and love for her family and friends.

Nancy was blessed with many wonderful friends. We would like to especially thank those who visited with her during her final week and all who supported her family during this difficult time.

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her children Ann (Mike), James, grandchildren Jennifer (Peter), Michael (Adriana), great grandchildren Michael, Alexander, Xavier, her wonderful brother John, her longest friend Jean, and her many relatives and friends in Scotland, Canada, and the US.

Nancy's final few months were spent with the most loving, compassionate and caring nurses and personal support workers at Burloak Extendicare. A special thank you to the palliative care team and all the staff for their support and outstanding care for Nancy, during her final week in Breckon House.

A funeral service will take place on Friday February 7, 2025 at 11am at Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn Street in Oakville.
