It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Nadezda (Nada) Preradovic on September 11th 2024, in Oakville, Ontario, at the age of 86.

Born on May 1, 1936, in Pančevo, Serbia, Nada shared 61 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Dr. Nikola "Nick" Preradović. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Nada had a gift for bringing people together. A true gourmet cook, she delighted family and friends with unforgettable meals and was happiest when hosting dinner parties filled with conversation, laughter, and the people she loved. She tended her garden with devotion, taking special joy in the birds that would visit her yard.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her hospitality, and her bright presence on Talbot Drive, where she was a cherished neighbor who always had something thoughtful — and often witty — to share. Above all, she adored her grandchildren, Violet, Drew, Zoe, and Stuart, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Nada leaves behind her loving sons, Ognjen (Michael) Preradović (Sharon) and Peter Preradović (Lisa), who will carry forward her legacy of love, generosity, and family traditions.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Nada's life will be held at a later date.
