Nada Mesich was born on April 23rd, 1937 in Draga, Lika in Croatia. She passed away peacefully on January 6th 2024, surrounded by her daughters.

Nada was a wonderful mother to Anica (Ivo) and Kaja (Joso) and the beloved wife of the late Vilim Mesich. She was a loving grandmother to Ante, Marko (Christine), Vilim, Ana, Nada (Ryan) and Adam. She was a proud great-grandmother to Christopher, Victoria, Milena, Katarina and Roko.

In 1965 Nada moved to Schumacher, Ontario with her family. She lived there for 3 years until moving to Oakville where she worked at General Electric. Nada loved being a part of the Croatian community and was a passionate member of the Croatian church choir. Nada and her husband Villa were part of the creation of the Lićko Prelo, which continues to this day. It is a celebration of their proud Croatian heritage in Lika. Nada's most cherished moments involved her family. More than anything, she loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Visitation will be held from 3pm - 5pm & 7pm - 9pm on Monday January 8th, 2024 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday January 9th, 2024 at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville. Internment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
