Muriel Margaret Elizabeth Gorman, aged 88, passed away on June 18, 2025, in Burlington, Ontario. Born on September 8, 1936, Muriel was a beacon of joy and sociability, cherished by her family and a wide circle of friends.

Muriel's life was full of people and conversation, marked by her love for gatherings with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Muriel was a longtime working fixture in her home of Bronte. Muriel loved her  visits with friends, especially her best friend Neville, and leisurely walks along the shores of Lake Ontario. Always ready for a chat, she had a knack for making each conversation feel special. Muriel is probably enjoying a conversation and card game right now with those that left for heaven before her!

Muriel came from a large and loving family with six brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by her children, Bev Gibbons (Tom), Kevin Gorman (Beth), Kim DesLaurier (Dan), Sherri Vandermolen (Ron), Cindy Gronfors (Gary), Tammy Wyatt (Bruce) as well as her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and her son, Billy (Yvonne).

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date, honoring Muriel's memory in a manner she would have wished. Muriel's life exemplified joy and companionship, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and cherished memories among all who knew her.
