William Henry Morris (Moe) Rockliffe

Moe passed away with his dedicated, loving son Tyler by his side on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 3:13am at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 87.  He was born on June 17, 1936 in Swan River, Manitoba.

Beloved husband of Jo Rockliffe (nee Flynn).  Loving father of sons, Jasen and Tyler (Kelly) and daughter Cindy Roney (Cam and their daughter Kai). Cherished Grandad to the loves of his life, Halen and Quinn.  Dear brother of late Wayne and sisters Beverly and Dorothy (Doe).  Loving son to the late Harry and Mary Rockliffe.

Moe was a super fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.  He was well known to the minor league baseball (OMBA) in Oakville and coached for many years.  So, you can imagine how proud he was when his grandkids started playing ball and won their first tournament.  He was an avid fisherman with "legendary" fisherman stories.  He was always proud of his cars and other man toys and took immaculate care of them all.  He enjoyed his early retirement from Petro Canada Oil Refinery in Bronte at his cottage in Huntsville but most importantly he enjoyed spending quality time with his wife (Jo) and his boys and would protect them and ensure they had a good life.  Moe was a strong-willed man and very proud of those close to him.  He had a quirky sense of humour and was truly one of a kind.  His love was fierce and he will be missed dearly.  A Service of remembrance will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville) on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 at 1:00pm.  Burial service will immediately follow at St. Jude's Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Moe's favourite charities; Sick Kids , Salvation Army or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
