IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Monique
Duval
July 7, 1932 – September 13, 2025
Monique Duval, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 13 at Joseph Brant Hospital.
Monique was born July 7, 1932 in Montreal to her parents Romeo and Yvette Reeves, and was a sister to Carmen.
After an education in nursing, she married Jean-Claude Duval on January 2, 1956 in Quebec. In 1976, they moved with their two children Andre and France-Monique to Oakville, Ontario where they called home for almost 50 years.
Monique is survived by her daughter France-Monique, son Andre, his wife Gretchyn, and five beloved grandchildren, Gracelyn, Spencer, Claire, Vivienne and Madeleine.
Monique practiced nursing for many years and later became an aesthetic nurse combining her love of beauty with medical science.
She was an elegant woman always impeccably manicured who actively practiced her Catholic faith and not one to miss Mass regardless of where she was visiting. Monique cherished her family, home, dear friends, travel, the performing arts, wine, and creating delicious food she shared with those whom she cared most about.
When we see a pair of swans on the lake, we know that Monique and Jean-Claude are reunited once again.
