It is with great sadness we announce the peacefull passing of Mirko from lung cancer on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Ian Anderson House in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Veronica for 51 years. Loved father of Catherine and her husband Robert O'Shaughnessy and cherished grandfather of Anna and Sydney. He is survived by his brother Ivan. He will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Mirko worked as a crane operator for Samuel and Sons for 33 years. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, (905 844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday. A funeral mass will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Donations in Mirko's memory can be made to Ian Anderson House, Credit Valley Hospital or Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
