Passed away on October 17, 2014 at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington surrounded by her family after her brave fight against ALS. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Milos; her children Gordana and Ilija; her grandchildren Vojislav and Velimir; her brother Djuro; her niece Sanja; her daughter-in-law Andrea; her son-in-law Mark; and her family and friends living across the world. She always made us feel loved through her wonderful laugh, her delicious food, and her open arms. Mirjana - a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend – will be sadly missed.
Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9pm Sunday, October 19, 2014. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 20, 2014 at St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 1039 Dundas St. W., Oakville. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Carpenter Hospice in Burlington.
