Peacefully on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at age 79. Terry, prescious wife of Doug for 55 years. Cherished mom to Janet (Mark) Cottrill, Lee Beatty (Jim Lahey) and Wes (Cindy) Beatty. Loving grandmother to Cacey, Chad, Kurt and Nigel, who also knew her as crooked eyed grammie. In her younger years, Terry was actively involved with Girl Guides of Canada as a leader. Later, Terry was a two-term UCW president and directed Carpenters helpers for numerous years. She was also a longtime member of the Oakville Stitchery Guild. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 . Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. on  Saturday, May 3, 2014   at St. Paul's United Church Memorial Fund, 454 Rebecca St., Oakville. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Paul's United Church.
