Passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the age of 85, after a long battle with heart disease and more recently kidney failure. Survived by his beloved wife Marion and stepson Stefan. Survived by his children Mickey, Lori and Ronnie and his brother John. Built a long and successful career in the jewelry business as owner and President of Lees Hamilton Ltd. which specialized in corporate and scholastic award rings and various specialty and custom designs. Inventor of an innovative mechanical swimming pool cover system and founder of Stolar Pool Covers Ltd. A warm and generous man who attracted many friends over the years. A lively sense of humour was always his ally even during his final days. According to his wishes a private cremation has taken place. A gathering and reception for family and friends will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
