Michael Douglas Gurney was born on July 5, 1951 and passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 26, 2011. He is survived by his loving father John Gurney, his brothers John and Peter, his children Melissa and Colleen Gurney and Megan Hegarty, as well as his grandchildren Adelyn and Kenna. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 3-5pm.
