It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Michael passed on Thursday June 17, 2021, at his home in Oakville in his 89 ^th year. Devoted husband of Deborah, father of Donna (Hugh), Jeanene (Joe) and Randy. Beloved grandfather of Layla, Mitchell, Sarah, and Emily.  Michael is survived by his sister Helen Pataky, and predeceased by his siblings, Bill, Fred, Mary, and Stella.

From a young man working in the tobacco fields to his life as a successful salesman he was proud to share his secrets of his great work ethic and his determination to succeed. His love of Canada took him from BC to Prince Edward Island, spending time in both the Yukon and Newfoundland.

His love of cards brought his family around the table and his love for cottage weekends gave him great pride and happiness.

Mike was an avid storyteller who loved to find new audiences for his numerous stories.

Visitation will be held between 1 and 3 on Tuesday June 22. 2021 and a family funeral will be held at 3 pm

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society would be appreciated.
