It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Maxine Weedle on Wednesday September 5, 2018. Maxine was 89 years old and was pre-deceased by Paddy, her loving husband of 64 years. She is survived by their three children, Michael (Nancy), Stephanie St Pierre (Roger) and Cindy. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Caitlin and Madeline Weedle, Patrick and Nicholas St Pierre and Jacqueline Prior, and by her sister-in-law Maire Weedle and family of Ireland.

Maxine was originally a native of Kingston, Ontario. With Paddy's military career their early life involved numerous postings in Canada and Europe. Eventually, the family settled in Oakville. Maxine and Paddy were active and engaged with their family, friends and community. Maxine will be lovingly remembered for her energy, kindness and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 10-11:30 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 am.
