Obituary

Maureen Evelyn Campbell, born in Montreal in 1931, only child of Kenneth Good and Doris Townsend, grew up in Beauharnois and Montreal. A graduate of Montreal High School for Girls and The Mother House and had a successful career as a private secretary.  Married Jim Campbell in 1955, moving to Ontario in 1957, after a couple of moves, settled in Oakville for 54 years. She has two sons, Wesley (Kelly) and Alan (Angelica), two granddaughters, Christi (John) and Rebecca, and three great granddaughters, Josephine, Alexandra and Mackenzie.  She loved her family and enjoyed living in Oakville. She was an avid bridge player, a swimmer of lengths in the Centennial pool, a loyal member of her church and the Angela Bruce Chapter IODE with their Bursary and scholarship programs. Although she spent 69 years in Ontario, in her heart and style, she was a Montrealer to the very end.

A service in her memory will be at St. John's United Church, Dunn and Randall Streets, Oakville Ontario, Thursday April 25th, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow the service.
