Maureen Acton, beloved mother to Angela, Clare, and Mark.  Beloved grandmother to Mark, Michael, Matthew, Emily, Justin, Christina, Amanda, Jonathan, and David.  Beloved great-grandmother to Keenan, Mackenzie, and Jude.  Beloved sister to Terry and Vernice Acton, and godmother to niece Martine.  She will also be missed by her son-in-law Randy, and all the people who knew and loved her.   Maureen lived through World War 2 in England, and immigrated to Canada with very little money, and worked hard to make a life for herself and her children, becoming the matriarch of a large and loving family.  A shining bright light that shines now from heaven for us all.

Visiting will be held July 28, 2020 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, Oakville (one block east of Kerr St). Funeral mass to follow 1:00 pm at St Matthew Roman Catholic Church.
