Passed away on Thursday October 17, 2013 at the age of 84 at the Toronto General Hospital. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. Matija leaves behind his wife Mirjana, daughter Draga, son Boris and granddaughter Monika. Funeral service was held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 19, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Parish in Oakville. Interment at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, Oakville. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU Unit at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, the Baycrest Rehabilitation Centre of Toronto and the staff at Toronto General Hospital.
