Peacefully in Oakville on Friday, December 5, 2014. Daughter of James Edward O'Mara and Josephine Elizabeth Walsh. Beloved wife of the late Robert James Westcott. Dearly loved cousin of the late Callie Bench. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her cousin, Mary Jo McCartney and all the McCartney family; her dear and most wonderful friends, Sharon and Tim Garvey and the Garvey boys; Carl Turpin and April Smith and their family; and Gail Fitzgibbon. Mary spent much of her career working at Kimberley Clark. She was a very active member of her community, volunteering at St. Andrew's Church and the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. She was an excellent bridge player and enjoyed the camaraderie of her friends in two bridge groups. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Covenant House, 20 Gerrard Street East., Toronto, ON M5B 2P3.
